The BALANCE TONE drone reed has been developed by Pipe Major Bruce Hitchings .
Bruce has used all his 35 years piping experience to come up with a product that will make the life of the piper easier.

Balance Tone reeds are marketed under both the RG Hardie name and Balance Tone - They are structurally the same reed, the only difference is that the RG Hardie reed is maroon in color. Based on availability, we may substitute the RG Hardie reed for Balance Tone orders unless otherwise specified by the customer.
